Most of your income details can now be conveniently accessed through the tax agent portal, making the entire experience smoother and more efficient.

If you’re a new client, simply provide your tax file number and identification, and we’ll take care of the rest. To ensure you’re well-prepared for your appointment, here’s a helpful checklist of items you might need to bring:

Income:

  • Interest or income from investments (most of which will be reported to the ATO).
  • Details of any other income, such as cryptocurrency, foreign income, or rental income.
  • Information regarding sales of assets.

Deductions;

  • Donations over $2 (remember to bring receipts).
  • Laundry and uniform expenses, including protective shoes or items.
  • Working from home expenses, including hours worked, receipts for items purchased, and costs incurred for internet, electricity, and phone.
  • Motor vehicle expenses if you use your car for work (don’t forget your logbook, petrol receipts, insurance and registration details, interest on loans, and vehicle purchase cost).
  • Costs for any other work-related expenses, including union fees, training expenses, travel costs, and equipment purchases.
  • Details of income protection insurance.

Other Documents;

  • Bank account details for the deposit of your refund.
  • Spouse income and details (and don’t forget your partner’s birthday!).
  • Copy of your last notice of assessment (required for new clients).
